Window Film Installation – For Your Car, Home, or Office

Window tinting or window film installation is a great way to keep cool in the Florida sun, improve energy efficiency, and reduce aging of interiors. Window films can be installed on the windows of your vehicle, home or business. There are several types of window films on the market including Dye/Metal, Nan Carbon Ceramic, Reflective and Privacy Films.

If you are considering getting window film installed, you may be wondering what to expect. Find out more about the process of installing window film for your car, home, or commercial property.

Car Window Film Installation

The car window film installation process starts with thoroughly cleaning your windows to completely remove any dirt. The installation takes place at our store where we are dedicated to creating the right environment for your window film to be installed properly so it will last. The window film will be cut and installed professionally to perfectly fit your window.

From start to finish, installation takes on average 1 to 2 hours. It can range from 20 to 30 minutes for a pair of doors to up to 3 hours for a custom van. You can drop your vehicle off at our location, or utilize the are waiting areas in the stores if you prefer to stay and wait. It takes about a week for your window tint to dry out, and you will have to wait at least 3 days to roll your window down.

Pricing for car window films starts as low as $32.50+ tax for most single door windows up to $500 for a ceramic window tint job on a large SUV. The average car price starts at about $162.

Home & Commercial Window Film Installation

The window film installation process is similar for residential & commercial properties. The process starts with prepping by laying drop clothes to protect the window film from carpet fibers and household dust. Then we will cut the window film to the glass and clean the glass to ensure it is completely free of any dirt or dust.

When the glass is 100% clean, the film will be applied to the glass, overlapping the edges to allow for trimming, and squeegeed to remove water and smooth the film. Heat and friction will start the adhesion process. Drying time will vary depending on heat, sunlight, and humidity – it could range from a few days to a few months.
