Sedans

  • Windshield: Tint must be non-reflective and can only be applied above the AS-1 line (around 5 inches allowance).
  • Front Side Windows: Must allow more than 28% of light in.
  • Back Side Windows: Must allow more than 15% of light in.
  • Rear Window: Must allow more than 15% of light in.

SUVs & Vans

  • Windshield: Tint must be non-reflective and can only be applied above the AS-1 line (around 5 inches allowance).
  • Front Side Windows: Must allow more than 28% of light in.
  • Back Side Windows: Must allow more than 6% of light in.
  • Rear Window: Must allow more than 6% of light in.

Window Tint Reflection
Sedans

  • Front Side Windows: Must not be more than 25% reflective.
  • Back Side Windows: Must not be more than 35% reflective.

SUVs and Vans

  • Front Side Windows: Must not be more than 25% reflective.
  • Back Side Windows: Must not be more than 35% reflective.

Additional Rules & Regulations

  • Colorized tint is not permitted
  • If back windows are tinted dual side mirrors are requires
  • If back windows are tinted dual side mirrors may be required
  • A sticker must be placed on the inside of the driver’s side door jamb to identify legal tinting.
